Starting Off

Well now, we've officially kicked off work on the site, and it's going great!

I've thought up a basic idea on how the roleplay will work regarding mods, but I'll keep it to myself until I can type it up later in an official rule thread.

The element threads are also in process, as well as abilities. I hope to finish these threads and the ability lists by the end of week!

Bestiary entries are also in progress, with the help of all of our members, we'll bring about a greay veriety of characters. These creatures mixed in with the element system will make for limitless possibilities in characters.

The Areas are also in progress, and don't worry, your character may start ANYWHERE in the world, except for some forbidden places. Just be sure not to start in an unreasonable place in relation to your creature's species. (Like putting a Cat at the bottom of the ocean... no air... suffocation.)

The plot will also be discussed by some of the more trusted members of the site, so fear not!

I'd like to thank every one for the help they've given so far!

After that I shall edit the rules a bit to better fit how I have planned things to go. Then I'll explain to all our mods how to mod (it's not complicated, don't worry!)

After everything is done, I will make the character creation sheet.

Okies... I'm going to be very mean/blunt.

We have 14 staff members... and only... 4 have done anything that can be counted as work. I understand most of you people are busy elsewhere, but it's REALLY hard to do everything alone without trying to shoot myself.

I'd appreciate some help from the staff please.

Things that need to be done:

Areas

While I am working on Ability Lists, the staff could create area descriptions in the newly organized staff area. Most of them will be created if I feel they fit into the world.

The high staff are discussing the plot in the Admin's Corner.

I'm working on Ability Lists

and everyone is doing the low-urgency things... like Bestiary Entries. You people don't even have any idea what the abilities do! So for now, I'm banning creating new abilities in bestiary entries, and reserving the priveledge only to staff.

And trust me, there is plenty of other things that need doing, but are not needed before the start of the RP. Like ITEMS!

So please, please, please, please, PLEASE. HELP.

Ack. I'm really sorry for not having done much... well, anything at any rate. I've just been pretty much on a block with creativity lately. Regardless, I'll try to come up with some area ideas or something ;3;. Once again, really sorry.

I apologize for sounding a bit harsh in my last post here. I was getting frustrated with things.

I do appreciate ALL of the help, even the entries, but I'd really like more focus put on the more important things.

Okay, for those helping with the Element Lists... here is what to do.

Simply go to the Nekomata Bestiary Entry and find the abilities that are not currently listed in the Element Ability Lists and create descriptions and such for them. Then add them to the list (modify page) and post here saying what element you finished.

If you are unsure about what to do with an ability, just post here what ability you skipped and I'll get to it when I can. THANKS.

Another note -

Strength = Physical Strength
Magical Strength = "Special" Attack (Pokemon Terms FTW!)

MP - The stronger the ability, the higher the cost.

Some abilities may drain MP by the turn, some last several turns.

Okay, well... sorry for moreless dissapearing. It's been rough these last two weeks or so. After Thursday though, things should clear up a bit. (Hopefully.)

- Limit number of each species. (So we don't end up having a billion of what is supposed to be a less common species.)

Not Dead.

The site isn't at least. My mind is. I'm taking a short break from Kurori work to try getting the pieces of my life back together. While the chaos has seemingly ended, I want to make sure and focus on my grades a bit before I continue getting things set up.

Well, bad news.

I got myself into trouble. My punishment involves me being banned from my computer for 21 hours a day. I've endured seven days already, but it's not helping me get things done. I can bypass the punishment by using my DSi, as I am doing now, but any work I attempt to do like this will progress horrendously slow. So, I must force myself to try and create a schedule to maintain all the work I have in various places on the web.

Sunday - Spriting for TPK
Monday - Free-day (Rehearsal cuts into computer time.)
Tuesday - Hisso-Kurori work
Wednesday - Laokia work, if any, and pre-update for Neko's Tale
Thursday - Type up next chapter of Neko's Tale
Friday - Free-day
Saturday - Free-day

That should hopefully be tolerable until this punishment ends, assuming it will.

If any one would be so kind to help with work here in Kurori, I'd really appreciate it.

We got some work done today, but we still have a way to go. We need AREA IDEAS. PM me with any you've got. There are going to be 5 Main Continents, and well, and underworld. (Basically and underground continent if that makes sense.)

The continents are Based off the main elements.

Fire
Water
Wind
Earth

The fifth continent is a floating continent (Light) , while the 6th is the underworld (Dark)

So please, pitch in when you have the chance.
